PIAGET CAMPUSES WORLDWIDE
In accordance with the policy of the Portuguese language affirmation in the world, the policy of cooperation with and within the Community of Portuguese Language Speaking Countries (CPLP – Comunidade dos Países de Língua Portuguesa), and the strong belief that a new generation of individuals and peoples needs to be formed, the Piaget Institute has extended its activity to Africa and South America, and assumed an important role in the development of their higher education and the academic and practical training of their senior staff.
Thus, the Institute has founded several Jean Piaget Universities – in Guinea-Bissau, Brazil, Cape Verde, Angola and Mozambique, has built their facilities from scratch and has provided the necessary resources for quality higher education, namely through the investment in the education/training of the Universities’ staff so that they can effectively improve the living conditions of the populations.
The Piaget worldwide currently offers university education in the fields that range from Engineering and Education to Medicine, and thus contributes to the establishment of a new pool of professionals with higher education qualifications, capable of leading the construction and development processes in their countries.
